Towards coexistance of youth in Kosovo
Description
The purpose of the project was to act on preventing youth violence in schools and develop good inter-ethnic relations among young people in Kosovo by working with all ethnic groups in Kosovo,, in particular in towns of: Prizren, Ferizaj and Lipljan. The activities in the project included training for teachers and other school workers in the area of peer violence prevention; promotion of the good relations, tolerance and solidarity between students and integrating those principles in everyday school life. The project dealt with volunteer work promotion among young people as a means of education for prosocial behaviour and empowerment of young people to disseminate the positive views and attitudes towards different ethnic groups in their communities. |
